… tabletop gaming has never been as important (or as big) as it is today. And that’s because we, as a society, are realising we can’t just live by the light of our phones. We’ve got to get in front of real people, make real connections, and really, truly laugh.

The dice, the cards, the minis that take 6 months to paint — these are the tools with which we tell our shared stories. Stories of spectacular victory, crushing defeat, and total buffoonery. Stories in which lifelong friendships are forged.

That’s why we made Tabletop Freo: so you can find your people.

We host tabletop gaming nights in Fremantle 3 nights a week

Hybrid Wednesdays

On Wednesday nights, we play at Hybrid Warehouse from 4 PM to 9 PM.

This is very much a game-agnostic night. We usually get 35 to 40 people attendees, and play card games, wargames, and board games — with steady games of Magic: The Gathering and Warhammer: Kill Team. (Some people play TTRPGs like D&D on these nights, but it’s a fairly rowdy environment, so we suggest saving your TTRPGs for our Monday and Thursday night events instead.)

Hybrid Warehouse charges us $15 a head, but you get a free drink, so it’s really ~$3. We don’t charge you anything on top of that.

TTRPG Mondays and Thursdays

On Monday and Thursdays, we play D&D and other TTRPGs at the Esplanade Hotel from 6 PM to 9:30 PM (under our sub-group DND Fremantle).

If you’re a new player who wants to learn how to play, a seasoned campaigner looking to pick up a regular game, or just want to drop in and out as your schedule suits, then this is the guild for you.

There’s a $5 fee for players to help cover our costs, but you’re welcome to come down and try us out for free on your first night.
